Hidden Valley Ranch Turkey Burgers

Happy Thankful Thursday!!

I love a good Turkey Burger!! I was so amazed at how good turkey meat is after growing up with ground beef. I love ButterBall ground turkey so much I use it for most of my recipes that call for ground beef.

My turkey burger recipe is delicious, full of flavor and easy to make. I love to put it in the oven but it really taste amazing grilled.

Ingredients

1 16oz package of butterball ground turkey

2-3 tablespoons of Lipton onion soup mix

2-3 tablespoons of dry ranch powder

3 tablespoons dry bread crumbs

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl mix ground turkey, lipton onion soup mix, hidden valley ranch powder and bread crumbs.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  • Form ground turkey into 3-4 patties
  • Bake turkey burgers in the oven until it has no pink and well done
  • Tip- I make 3 patties out of this but it depends on how thick you want your burgers

    I also season the meat with a dash of other seasonings

    Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and preheat oven to 350°F. Combine all ingredients in a bowl to make the glaze. Pour glaze directly over the chicken and cover the dish, then bake for 20 minutes. Remove the cover and bake another 15-20 minutes.

    Add chicken, a few pieces at a time, and turn to coat. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Brown chicken on all sides remove and keep warm. Add soup mix and remaining flour, stirring to loosen browned bits from pan. Gradually whisk in beer. Bring to a boil cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Return chicken to the pan.

    How To Make Lipton Onion Soup Burgers

    First, add the packet of onion soup mix to the ground beef in a large bowl. We usually use around 2 pounds of ground beef, but you can easily adjust the recipe as needed.

    Then, add ¼ cup of water. With clean hands, gently mix beef with the dry onion soup mix by hand until the meat is firm enough to handle.

    Form the meat into hamburger patties. You should be able to get 6 or 7 patties — around ½ inch thick each.

    Then, gently press the middle of each patty with your thumb to make an indentation. This helps prevent the hamburgers from shrinking too much while they cook.
