This spinach dip is one of my favorite recipes. I got it from my mom and have been making it for about 10 years now and I just LOVE it! Its so good and whenever I take it somewhere or have a party at my house, its always a big hit! Its super easy to make and it definitely is a crowd pleaser!

This is what youll need to make the spinach dip.
Add sour cream, mayo and soup mix and stir.
Dice green onions and water chestnuts and then add to dip.
Thaw and drain the water from spinach and then add to the dip, stir.
Once the spinach is thoroughly mixed up, chill for 2-3 hours before serving .
Serve with bread or crackers.
Here are all the ingredients that you need. I found that the spinach that comes in a steam bag are the easiest to use. I have gotten spinach from the frozen section that are kinda in a block form and when you thaw it you really have to squeeze out the water to drain it. This bag was much easier to thaw.
When it comes to dicing vegetables, I love to use my Ulu knife. Its awesome and doesnt a great job getting them into some chunks. Its especially nice for things like water chestnuts because they are a pain to cut one by one . Also the water chestnuts are one of my FAVORITE things about this recipe, it gives it a really nice crunch and flavor.

How To Use Popular Onion Soup Mix
Since this seasoning blend is extremely versatile it can be used to add flavor to a wide variety of dips, sauces, meats, and vegetables.
One of my favorite ways to use this is to season roasts however, there are just so many creative ways that people have found to use this little packet of goodness. If you have never tried this spice blend before or are just looking for new ideas, we will share a few to get you started.
Beef Broth. Just heat 3 cups of water and 1 packet of the soup mix. Bring to a boil, lower the heat and simmer for 5 more minutes. Sometimes we all want a simple yet satisfying hot bowl of goodness.
Rice Pilaf. A great way to add lots of rich tasting flavor. Add a packet to a cup of rice and a cup of water while cooking for a delicious flavor.
Pot Roast. Use as a spice rub on the roast and continue with baking or slow cooking for a deep, rich flavor. Use the pan drippings for gravy too.
If you like to grill your meats this is a delicious marinade. Just mix a packet with 1/3 cup olive oil and 1/3 cup rice wine vinegar. Marinate your meat 1-4 hours before grilling.
Roasted Potatoes. Cut up your potatoes and toss them with the dry onion soup mix and some olive oil. Place on a cookie sheet and bake until golden and crispy. Our entire family scrambles to the table when I make amazing recipes like this.

I add one packet of this every time I make my Ninja Foodi meatloaf or meatballs in air fryer which is pretty darn often. This is great because sometimes I want to add a bit more but dont want to open a second package. Just 5 dry ingredients makes up this mix so its easier than you might think.
I did the same thing with our favorite steak dry rub. Made 10x one day and poured it into a mason jar to store. Saved me a lot of time prepping thereafter and there was no measuring involved.
