Then I make the chicken separate in the cream of mushroom soup& milk sauce. This way the rice is perfect and the chicken is perfect. Then all you do is serve it together.

This dish is great in the fall when the leaves are changing as the dish is warm, creamy, and satisfying. Its also great in the summer when you want to just throw something in the Instant Pot, go back to work out in the yard, or play with the kids and have dinner done in a snap.

Is Canned Cream Of Chicken Soup Gluten Free

Most canned cream of chicken soups in the store are not gluten free.

We are lucky to have a few gluten free canned cream of chicken soups at our grocery stores, but I still prefer making my own most of the time.

Luckily, making your own cream of chicken soup is quick and easy!

Crockpot Chicken And Rice Casserole

What youll need to do in the morning for this dump and go recipe is quite simple. Get everything out and just stir it together. If youre looking to leave for the entire day though, this probably isnt one to make.

You do have to keep a bit of an eye on it when its done so the rice doesnt overcook.

  • Add uncooked rice, frozen vegetables, diced onion, and garlic salt into your pot. In a bowl whisk together broth and cream of chicken soup until smooth, pour this into your slow cooker and stir everything together.
  • Put cubed chicken on top, sprinkle with salt and pepper
  • Cover and cook on high 3.5-4 hours until chicken is cooked thru and rice is tender, low for 6-7 hours is an option as well.
  • Fluff rice in pot and serve in bowls with shredded cheese on top.

    And after making this casserole it seems to taste exactly the same as the original Campbells product, so I am glad I found this out.

    I dont like Mushrooms! I was never a fan of mushrooms, until avoiding them in this dish distracted from the time it took from me actually enjoying the dish. So, I decided to suck it up and guess what, I enjoyed it! HOWEVER if youre not a fan, you can substitute with Campbells Cream of Chicken, Cream of Broccoli and Cheese, or quite frankly, any of the Campbells Cream ofs!

    Pan Sear First if you chose to leave the skin on, it gets insanely crispy and the meat remains tender and juicy! Regardless of skin on/off ensure to pat the chicken dry with paper towels as moisture will prevent the skin from getting crispy. It also allows for the flavours to burst and the ingredients to come together nicely! Once golden-brown, add the campbells and fresh mushrooms.

    What mushrooms to use? I used cremini mushrooms, however you can use baby portobello mushrooms, white mushrooms, or whatever you have on hand!

    What youll need

    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 4 skinless large boneless chicken breasts
    • 64g shredded Mozzarella cheese

    How To make Broccoli Chicken & Rice Bake

  • Preheat oven to 375°F/190°C/gas mark 5.
  • Stir the soup, water, rice, broccoli and onion powder in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  • Place the chicken on top and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs on the top of the chicken and rice. Cover with foil.
  • Bake 45 minutes or until done.

  • Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • Mix together the cream of chicken soup, cubed chicken breast, rice, chicken broth, and sour cream in a large bowl until everything is incorporated. Spread the mixture into a 9×13 baking dish.
  • Put the Ritz crackers in a zip-top bag and roll them with a rolling pin. Then, reclose the bag and shake until the cracker crumbs are evenly coated in butter.
