Internal Temperatures For Cooking Pork:

There is no need to worry that this pork roast wont be cooked correctly. Cooking it low and slow ensures that the internal temperature will be just right every time. The texture of this roast is more fall apart tender similar to what you would achieve with a slow cooker.

However, when it comes to pork loins, roasts and chops, a common misconception is that it must have an internal temperature of 160° degrees F. in order for it to be done.

When in fact, fresh-cut muscle meats such as pork chops, pork roasts, and tenderloins should measure 145° F, to ensure the maximum amount of flavor. Following these pork cooking temperature guidelines will not only result in a safe eating experience but also preserve the quality of your meat making it more tender and juicy.

My kids, on the other hand, are obsessed with pork bacon, pork sausage, bacon, pork chops, bacon, pork steak, and bacon. So naturally, this slow cooker pork roast was a hit with my family.

This Slow Cooker Pork Roast with Gravy is a winner in my eyes because it uses canned soups simple pantry ingredients with little to no prep needed. Pork roast tends to have a nice natural fat content, and when slow cooked, it mixes with the soups to create its own gravy. I recommend serving this over mashed potatoes.
