Lipton Chicken Rice Casserole

Place the uncooked rice in the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish. Evenly sprinkle half of the onion soup mix over the rice. Place the chicken pieces on top of the rice. Evenly distribute the mushrooms around the chicken. In a bowl or large measuring cup, whisk together the cream of chicken soup and milk until blended. Pour evenly over the chicken.

Steps: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F . In a large bowl mix the rice, dry onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, mushroom pieces and milk. Place the chicken pieces in a 9×13 inch baking dish and pour the mushroom mixture over the chicken. Cover and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Uncover and bake for 15 more minutes.

In your casserole pan of choice, add the water, both packages of Lipton soup, and cooked rice. Stir very well to combine and make sure the soup packet incorporates with the water as much as possible. In an oven preheated to 350 degrees, bake the casserole for 45 minutes with a heatproof lid on.

In a small mixing bowl, mix condensed can of cream of mushroom, half package of Lipton onion soup mix with milk until well blended, set aside. Get a large baking dish 13×9 if available. Pour uncooked rice into baking dish along with minced garlic and spread evenly, place thawed skinless chicken breast over garlic and rice. Pour your soup mix on top of the chicken breast and rice.

How To Make French Onion Rice

Its really quite simple. You prepare the French Onion Rice pretty much the same way you would regular basmati rice. Youll need a bit more water and of course, the beef bouillon and onion soup mix.

In a medium pot, stir together the water, rice, soup mix, bouillon and a bit of butter, bring it all to a boil and then cover the pot and reduce the heat to low. Let this mixture simmer for about 20 minutes or more. When its ready, give it a quick fluff with a fork and mix in a couple of tablespoons of butter and then serve it nice and hot.

The addition of bouillon and onion soup mix will make this side dish the star of your next meal. Serve it with roasted chicken, steak or even a roast. This dish will be a tasty companion to whatever you decide to serve it with. Its a real winner in my books!

Our household usually cant end up a casserole, so we save some for lunch and even dinner the next day. To reheat it, simply pop it back in the oven at 350 for regarding 15-20 minutes! Campbells Soup Chicken Rice Casserole With Onion Soup

This is another recipe found in a travel magazine over 20 years ago, that I made quite often, and was also a family favorite.

Steps:

• 1. Clean chicken breasts, pepper to taste, sprinkle paprika over the tops of each breasts. In a 3 quart roaster pan add dry rice and dry onion mix, stir together, add chicken breasts to top of rice mixture. Add sliced mushrooms to top of chicken, pour water over the top, and cover pan. Put into preheated oven 350 degrees. Bake covered for 1 1/2 hours. Serve with salad.
• 2. When mixing the dry rice, and onion mix, also add the soup, and stir together, then pour into the roaster. Chicken still goes on top of the mixture.

Cheesy Chicken & Rice Casserole

This is a favorite Sunday dinner at our house. Its quick and easy to throw together and tastes delicious!

• 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
• 2. Spray 9×13 pan with cooking spray. Layer rice, 1 c. cheese, salt and pepper in pan. Place chicken breasts on top. Dob rounded teaspoons of cream of chicken soup over the chicken breasts and rice. Pour water on top and sprinkle with onion soup mix.
• 3. Bake uncovered for 1 1/2 hours, checking water after 1 hour. Remove from oven, sprinkle with remaining 1/2 c. cheese. **If using brown rice, cooking time will be about 15 minutes longer.

French Onion Chicken And Rice

I am often asked if you can cook chicken and rice at the same time in the Instant Pot.

The answer is a resounding YES, and cooking them at the same time is a fabulous way to save time and effort.

The key is combining them together with enough liquid and allowing for a natural pressure release so the rice has time to cook all the way through and the chicken wont be tough.

How To Make It:

Mix it up. First, youll add the chicken and rice to the Instant Pot. Pour the broth over the chicken and rice. Then stir in the french onion soup mix.

Cook it. Next, youll close the lid and cook for 3 minutes at high pressure then allow for a natural pressure release.

Make it creamy. Last, youll remove the chicken to a cutting board. Whisk together the cream of chicken soup and french onion dip. Stir that mixture and the mozzarella cheese into the rice until it is creamy.

Shred or chop the chicken and return it to the rice. Serve topped with fried onions.
