It is more than a little disappointing that this line has been discontinued. The bowls are the perfect shape, and hold up brilliantly in the microwave and the dishwasher. The Chirp pattern adds a little burst of colour and brightness without being garish, allowing it to match with a great many decor styles. We had the misfortune of breaking one , and discovered that items in the Chirp line are near impossible to come by now. This is easily the finest and most usable daily pattern we’ve seen from Lenox. No metal rims, so no microwave worries. The glaze is brilliant in the dishwasher, and it’s far sturdier than any stoneware you might try. The perfect every-day dishes for elegance and reliability.
