Maesel Dorn couldnt figure out why she had fallen violently ill two days earlier but then reached for a carton of Pacific Foods soup stored in her fridge and made a ghastly discovery: the partial remains of what appeared to be a mouse.

The 72-year-old could see the rodents intestines and a foot.

Dorn makes the claim in a $400,000 lawsuit filed Monday in Multnomah County Circuit Court, saying that organic foods company tried to brush off her complaints.

Dorns suit also claims the soup carton she supplied to the Tualatin-based company for testing mysteriously disappeared in a cover up more than two months after Dorn handed it over.
