In my home, both my husband and I love potatoes in any shape, way, or form. I grew up in a home where potatoes were king, so did my husband. Mashed, baked, grilled, even fried , we ate potatoes cooked in all different ways. We especially ate loved eating oven-roasted potatoes. Our favorite is Lipton Onion Soup Potatoes that are oven-roasted.
Over the course of our marriage, we have tried a few different recipes with potatoes. But we have had trouble finding a go-to potato recipe though.
Recently, however, my husband found a recipe online for oven-roasted potatoes that were mixed and cooked with onion soup mix. Thats right, he made Lipton Onion Soup Potatoes. eriously this is such an easy, inexpensive, and even fast recipe, too.
The first time, we tried it a few weeks ago, we knew we were hooked. It is just that tasty. Plus its easy to make, too.
How To Make Hamburger Soup
To start, add the ground sirloin into a large heavy bottom skillet and cook until no pink is visible.
First, add the garlic salt, and season pepper on top of the sirloin and combine, then place into the crockpot.
Secondly, prepare the onion and place it into the crockpot.
Thirdly, peel and prepare the potatoes and carrots and add to the crockpot.
Next, pour in the chicken broth and minced garlic and combine.
In addition, put the tomato paste, soup mix, and Italian seasoning into the crockpot.
Afterward, pour in water to cover the ingredeints.
Furthermore, add in the garlic salt, seasoned salt, and seasoned pepper and combine to taste.
Lastly, add in the brown sugar and combine.
Cooking the soup:
First, place the lid onto the crockpot and place on high for 6 hours, and stir every now and then.
Secondly, add the frozen peas about 45 minutes before serving.
Thirdly, if you are not ready to serve the recipe at 6 hours, switch the crock pot temperature to low and add more water if needed.
Lastly, add the soup into bowls with a side of your favorite crackers or bread.

Making Lipton onion gravy is quick and easy, and a good alternative if youre missing key ingredients. For this gravy variation, bring two cups of water to a point, stir in the Lipton onion soup gravy mix, then stir in flour blended with a cup of water.
Bring to a boil, then simmer stirring constantly for five minutes or until the Lipton onion soup mix gravy has thickened. To make it mushroom onion gravy, just add mushrooms.

How To Make Hamburger Steak With Onions And Gravy
First, you have to make your hamburger or ground beef patties.
Using a large bowl, adjust beef, panko, soup mix, and pepper with your hands until fully combined.
Form beef mixture into four 4 inch patties, around ½ inch thick. Make hamburger patties as close to the same size as possible. Remember the burgers will shrink as they cook so dont be nervous about making them a larger size.
Using your fingertip or knuckle, press down the center of each patty to create a dent that is about the size of a quarter and no more than ¼ an inch deep.
Using a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter, over medium to medium high heat.
Make sure your skillet is hot before you place your hamburger patties inside. You need to try to achieve a dark brown color on the outside of each burger. Do your best.
Add hamburger patties and cook until well browned and meat registers 130 degrees, about 4 minutes per side.
Try not to touch your burgers for a few minutes before flipping them. I keep peaking after 3 minutes until all of the burgers have a dark color and are well browned.
Some prefer their hamburger steaks thicker than others. You need to be sure and adjust your cooking time accordingly.
A thick, ½ inch hamburger steak can take about 4 minutes per side to cook, while a thinner hamburger, as little as 2 to 3 minutes per side. Use your best judgement.
Transfer to platter and tent with aluminum foil.

Making French Onion Soup Burgers:
The burgers themselves are just super easy to make. I usually make burgers about four to a pound, about 4 ounces each but for these I wanted to go big, primarily because I wanted to use the onion buns and those are pretty huge. So I made each burger about six ounces and used about a tablespoon and a half of the Liptons Onion Soup Mix per burger. That would be about a packet for 24 ounces if youre buying your Liptons Onion Soup instead ofmixing it up in bulk like I do at my house. Its really not that particular if you use a little more or less because theres so much else going on with these burgers.
The star of the show, here, is really the caramelized onions tossed on top. Now its not that big of a deal to make just a few caramelized onions, but if youre going to be doing these burgers for a crowd and want to make a big batch of them, check out my post with links to Three Ways to Caramelize Onions. For this recipe, though, I have an easy shortcut method that just takes minutes for a small amount of onions but will give you truly really caramelized onions, tender, silky and juicy.
