    I found this recipe in a recent AARP magazine and thought I would give it a try. It was so very easy and I wanted to archive it here for furture use and for my daughter if she ever wants to know how to make it. Make it easy on yourself and buy a rotisserie deli chicken and shred that.

    3 1/2 cups Swanson chicken broth
    2 -3 dashes black pepper
    1 medium carrot, sliced
    1/2 cup uncooked extra wide egg noodles
    1 cup shredded cooked chicken

    Steps:

    • Heat broth, pepper, carrot and celery in 2 quart saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil.
    • Stir in noodles and chicken. Reduce heat to medium. Cook for 10 minutes or until noodles are tender.

    4 cups Swanson® Chicken Broth or Swanson® Certified Organic Chicken Broth or Swanson® Natural Goodness® Chicken Broth
    Generous dash ground black pepper
    1 medium carrot, peeled and sliced
    1 stalk celery, sliced
    ½ cup uncooked medium egg noodles
    1 cup shredded cooked chicken or turkey

    Steps:

    • Heat the broth, 1 generous dash ground black pepper, carrot and celery in a 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil.
    • Stir the noodles and chicken in the saucepan. Reduce the heat to medium. Cook for 10 minutes or until the noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.

    Easy Swanson Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe

    For this recipe we kept it scratch-ish by using store bought rotisserie chicken and broth, I actually prefer using 100% chicken broth here instead of making it from scratch as many recipes call for added butter and way more salt than Id like to use this early in the recipe

    Either pour off chicken broth into a separate container or use a new pot to saute onion, green pepper, celery, and jalapenos in 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat until tender and golden brown, about 10 minutes. Add chicken broth, shredded chicken, and tomatoes with their juice. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.

    Set 6-qt Instant Pot® to the high saute setting. Add olive oil, garlic, onion, carrots and celery. Cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 23minutes. Stir in thyme and rosemary until fragrant, about 1 minute.

    Remove and discard ginger and garlic. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth gradually stir into broth. Bring to a boil cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add chicken heat through. Reduce heat. Drizzle beaten egg into hot broth, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat stir in onion.
