We like to use College Inn stock or broth, which always is consistently good tasting and sometimes on sale at our store. It is also gluten free which not all broths or stock are not, so if that is a concern then be careful to read the labels.
There is also chicken bone broth. We buy the Kettle and Fire brand. It is made from organic free range chicken bones that are slow simmered for 14 hours, is also gluten free and is high in protein, 10 grams in 1 cup.
